Child Helpline International, a charity that helps fund helpline numbers for children worldwide, has come up with an innovative way to encourage you to sign its online petition: making art from your verbal signature.
An online petition called "Free Our Voices" uses custom voice recognition to allow visitors to "sign" by recording their names. Each recording is then visualized using a unique written signature determined by the frequency, sound, rhythm and speech pattern of each participant's own voice. Users can customize the color of their signature, then share it via social media. The site was created by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam's in-house creative incubator, The Kennedys, and the digital team at MPC Creative.
In addition to the interactive petition, the "Free Our Voices" campaign includes a short film that depicts people from all walks of life acting as mouthpieces for a child.
