With all the British retailers busying themselves with how to produce the most emotional Christmas ad this year, Samsung U.K. has decided to join in, with its first-ever festive campaign. In this film, a family is enjoying Christmas at home -- and making use of all manner of Samsung devices, from smartphones to tablets and smart watches. With a cosy voiceover and vignettes designed to make you smile -- people falling over ice skating, or filming themselves sneaking more turkey -- it's less a hard product sell and much more about warm feelings for the Samsung brand (or, at the very least, marvelling at this family's incredible brand loyalty). A second film gets more specific, promoting the Galaxy Note 4, but is still heavy on the Christmas magic.
