Paint brand Dulux is placing a series of public artworks across the U.K. in an effort to remind people of the power of color to transform mood and surroundings. The Colour Britain project features unique artworks hand-painted by artists onto giant canvases in town centers, or as murals on extra large walls. They celebrate local history, heritage, color and culture.

The murals will go up over the next two weeks across seven locations, including Brighton, London and Liverpool, and the eighth will be picked by the public; Dulux is soliciting suggestions via its social media channels using the hashtag #colourbritain. The campaign includes PR & experiential through Mischief, with social media and video content by AnalogFolk London and Orillo (watch a film about the project here).
