This is What the Cover of 'Fifty Shades' Should Have Looked Like

How often do you look at something and think "That could have been better?" The folks at DDB New York seem to think this happens often enough to dedicate a site to it. will house redesigns and improvements on concept that missed the mark or lacked a little something. Take the "Fifty Shades" trilogy, for example. It was wildly successful, but the team behind this website felt cover art was underwhelming, so they had photographer Simon Harsent shoot bondage scenes -- a repeated occurrence in the books -- and then proceeded to pixelate the images in precisely 50 shades of grey. Other revamps currently featured tackle the London tube's Oyster Card, reimagining as a ring, and birth certificates -- they're so important, but usually just as hard to look at. They will continue to add work as it comes up and since crowd-sourcing is the present and the future, ask those who have leads on anything that #CouldHaveBeenBetter to share it on social media platforms.
