AICP's Call for Entries Looks Into Future of Ad Industry Greats

The Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) looks 35 years into the future of some of the ad industry's greats for its 2015 call for entries. Barton F. Graf 9000 founder Gerry Graf whines about losing his wife -- to BBDO's David Lubars; Grey Global CCO Tor Myhren is in jail for kidnapping the "E-Trade adolescent," McCann's Global Creative Chairman Rob Reilly likes to pee in fridges, Co:Collective Partner/Chief Content Officer Tiffany Rolfe is now an advertising magician, while Droga5 N.Y. CCO Ted Royer is still holed up at the office, chowing down on gummy bears and sucking oxygen from a tank as he gripes over being abandoned by creative chairman David Droga.
Luckily, they all have work to prove themselves at New York's Museum of Modern Art (all honorees become part of its permanent collection). The films drive home the point that while creatives "craft" their own legacy, the AICP Show will protect it.
The stars of the films actually penned their own scripts themselves, and O Positive's Brian Billow directed. The deadline for AICP entries is February 27, 2015. The AICP Show and AICP Next will take place during AICP Week, from June 2 - 4.
