Artist/illustration duo Craig & Karl, aka Craig Redman and Karl Maier, who are repped out of LL Reps in the States and have previously worked with brands like Louis Vuitton, Opening Ceremony and Antipodium, recently teamed up with Vogue U.K. to bring key pop culture events to life their vibrant, pop-art based work. Each month, the pair will contribute to the pub's "The Culture Edit" and will showcase a current, major cultural event in their distinctive style. First up is their interpretation of the Victoria & Albert's David Bowie Is exhibition, which opened its doors last week. On The Culture Edit blog the pair noted, "Our take on the Bowie exhibit is a mega-mix of various looks featured at the V&A worked into the form of one iconic outfit. The treatment of the image--which is dissected along the lines of the Union Jack--heightens the kaleidoscopic and chameleon-like effect of his many shifting personas."
