A karaoke duet has a carefully planned backstory in Credit Karma spots
GS&P's 'Here's to Progress' campaign rewinds success stories
Editor's Pick
A good life requires a bit of planning, but the effort involved isn’t always evident at first glance. Credit improvement service Credit Karma’s “Here’s to Progress” campaign rewinds these moments of success to show the work and foresight that went into making them happen.
Sure, Brenda’s living it up in Vietnam now, but it took months of getting her spending under control, saving and picking the right credit card to get there. And Henry’s happily married, with a nice car to boot, but it took a bad high school reunion and a little help getting a car loan for him to make it happen.
These two new spots, whose chain-reaction theme recalls DirecTV's award-winning "Cable Effects" campaign, continue an effort from Goodby Silverstein & Partners begun in October. Justin Theroux (“The Leftovers,” “The Girl on the Train”) narrates the spots, which are directed by Rupert Sanders (“Ghost in the Shell,” “Snow White and the Huntsman”). Additional spots will roll out in through the end of the year, along with social and radio assets.
