Gasoline-powered RVs are cheaper than their diesel-powered counterparts. The cost difference was eroding market share for diesel-powered engine manufacturers, including Cummins. But diesel engines are far superior in nearly every other category: cruising range; torque; breaking; noise; and hill climbing. The diesel experience matters to those who know; however, not everyone is aware of these benefits. Instead of sitting back, we took the diesel-powered story to the road. "RVTV" used a professional driver and screen talent on the road, comparing and contrasting the performances of gas- and diesel-powered RVs. The result left no doubt: diesel RVs rule the road -- and viewers throughout the RV value chain are taking notice.
