Tarsem Directs U.K. Ad That Debuted During 'X Factor'

Radical Media's Tarsem (director of "Mirror Mirror" and "The Cell," as well as Pepsi's epic "We Will Rock You" Super Bowl commercial) helmed this exhilarating 60=second spot for BMW, which debuted in full during the final of the U.K. "X Factor" this weekend. The film, promoting BMW's i8 hybrid electric sports car, takes us back to the origins of horsepower by imagining the first man ever to think of riding a wild horse. It was shot in Almeria in Spain, where a hot dusty desert provides the setting for the man to jump into a crowd of stampeding horses. Eventually, he manages to mount one and man and horse later morph into the car. FCB Inferno was the agency responsible.
