Who said souvenirs have to be kitsch? Areaware's pop-up store brings cool design finds to travelers passing through New York's Port Authority.

N.Y.-based design products manufacturer and distributor Areaware has brought good design sense to souvenirs and travel accessories. In partnership with the Port Authority of N.Y. and N.J., the Times Square Alliance and The Fashion Center BID, the company recently erected the "Design to go," a Pop Up shop in New York's Port Authority, which opened on August 18 and will run through September 26th.
Products for sale will come from Areaware's own line as well as from local designers and shops like The Future Perfect, Tobias Wong, Ross Menuez, Kiel Mead and Kelly Lamb.
