Explore the Universe of Bungie's 'Destiny' in New Google-Powered Site
72andSunny's Campaign for Much-Anticipated Game Applies Streetview Tech to Fictional Planet

It's about a week away until the launch of Activision and Bungie Studios' much-anticipated new title "Destiny" on September 9, but gamers can get a Google Street View-style peek into the game's world with this new online campaign out of 72andSunny.
Although not meant to be a simulation of game play, Destinyplanetview.com invites players to explore the game's version of Mars, Venus and the Moon through a Destiny-style lens via an interface akin to Streetview. There, they an also learn about weaponry and other aspects of the game.
"One of the most compelling aspects of 'Destiny' is its familiarity," said 72andSunny Chief Creative Officer Glenn Cole, in an email to Ad Age. "You get to play on the Moon, Mars, Venus -- tangible places that capture people's imaginations. So we made it even more familiar by allowing people to explore these planets (and the Destiny mythology) the same way we virtually explore our own planet, with Google Maps."
The site follows spots from Ant Farm and a teaser released earlier last year, directed by Jon Favreau of "Iron Man" fame.
