Gaming company Blizzard has come up with a spooky way to promote its new game "Diablo III" -- it's inviting a fan to spend the night in a "haunted" house -- and the rest of the world will get to see it through Twitch.

The campaign, by Blizzard Nordic and Swedish agency Wenderfalck, asks Diablo fans to apply for the chance to spend one night at Borgvattnet's rectory, allegedly one of the most haunted houses in Sweden, while playing the game's new Necromancer hero class and live-streaming their adventures on Twitch.

The campaign aims to engage the streaming community and showcase the powers of the Necromancer character, who has abilities to control the dead.

Brave people can apply via a website and should include an explanation as to why they should be selected for the experience. All applicants are expected to be well-versed in the Diablo universe, comfortable with hosting an online video stream and physically and mentally fit for the ordeal.
