Macaroni art gets an adult upgrade in Kraft Mac & Cheese's new, huge digital macaroni mural for charity. The project, via Crispin Porter & Bogusky, was created using the "Dinner, Not Art" app, part of the brand's campaign to exhort you to use your noodles to fill your tummy, not your school projects.
Artist Tom Deininger created a portrait of Ted Williams, the formerly homeless man whose golden pipes made him the voice of the brand's ad campaigns.
For every noodle that is used on the app, Kraft donated 10 noodles to Feeding America. So when Deininger used it to make his mural, it resulted in 126,000 noodles being donated to the cause. Check out a making of video here.
