Zappos has launched a comedic campaign that illustrates its "drama-free" customer service by contrasting it with quirky little scenarios for which you should "save the drama."

The spots, by BarrettSF, show customers engaged in easy interactions with Zappos, and then dealing with other random situations, that happen to rhyme with drama: their daughter's diorama made with bank notes from the neighbors, an overworked comma coming home from work, or an 18th century prima donna or a teenage llama.

"Usually, we all dread having to return something or getting on the phone with a customer rep," explains creative director Aryan Aminzadeh, in a statement. "But with Zappos, it's always easy and drama-free. So, we basically took the 'save the drama for your mama' joke and went a little crazy with it."

The ads were directed by Comedy Bang! Bang! director Ben Berman and are airing in Portland, together with an OOH and radio campaign.
