Playing off that irresistible urge you feel to dance, lip sync and rock out on air guitar while listening to your digital music player, Dell has concocted a tongue-firmly-in-cheek internet campaign that introduces the fictional Mitch Ferrence as the spokesman for its new MP3 player. A former boy-band impresario with a skewed outlook on style and rhythm, Mitch plugs the new Dell DJ Ditty in a series of instructional "ditty-o's" (that's "videos" for all you non-hip types) at DellDitty.com, where visitors can learn semi-professional techniques for air guitar, lip syncing and red-hot dance moves like "Greedy Buffet Patron" and "Stomp the Squirrel." Each video is broken down into a series of shorter web films and viral lesson clips for easy distribution, ensuring that everyone can "maximize their musical experience" through the wisdom of maestro Mitch.
