Brazilian natural juice brand Do Bem (which translates as "do well") is encouraging its customers to live healthier lives with its very own smartband and accompanying app. Do Bem Maquina, which was created by Huge's Rio de Janeiro office, is a silicon smartband that monitors both body movements and sleep patterns. Like rival smartbands, it tracks elements such as number of steps taken, calories burned and distance traveled, but it can also track sleep patterns and the app gives advice to users on how they can changes their lifestyle. Four different LED colors (red, yellow, green and blue) indicate varying levels of activity so users can track their progress. It's also the first Brazilian-made smartband, so the brand should be appealing to patriotic types as well as fitness fans.
