KFC Romania Will Give Away Free Chicken if Your Social Networks Crash
Special Website Lets Panicked Customers Ease Their Anxiety With Coupons

Editor's Pick
KFC in Romania knows how much its target audience loves their social media, and how upset it gets if they crash. So, the fast feeder is monitoring the main social networks, including Facebook, Tinder, Instagram, Twitter and Gmail, for outages, and promises to give away free coupons for meals every time one of the sites goes down.
A special microsite called Don't Panic will change its appearance every time an outage occurs, offering people free meals to relieve their tension and anxiety. When normal service resumes, it'll just encourage them to buy chicken. MRM/McCann Romania is responsible for the stunt -- which we hope doesn't go horribly wrong if there's an Armageddon-like crash. But then if that happens, we'll be so panicked chicken will probably be the last thing on our minds.
