French Mobile Brand Warns Teens of What They'll Miss by Texting at School

Who Can Think About Kant While They're Messaging?

Don't Text and School

Editor's Pick

French mobile brand M6 Mobile by Orange is taking responsibility over teenagers texting at school by launching a print campaign warning them of what they'll miss while they're exchanging dumb messages with their friends. Three print ads superimpose examples of typical texting exchanges on pages of books imparting great knowledge - such as the history of the moon landings, Kant's views on morality and Pythagorus' Theorem -- accompanied by the tagline "Don't Text and School." Whether teens will actually think Pythagorus is more important than Andy dating Barbara is still up for debate, but it's a nice effort by Ogilvy Paris.
