Low battery anxiety. It's definitely a thing, and no more so than when you're trying to watch the crucial moment of a drama on your phone.

Samsung plays on this in a new spot out of Leo Burnett Chicago, that features dramatic, life or death scenes from TV dramas and movies, among them a medical drama, a lifeguard movie, a martial arts thriller and a war film. They all head for a climactic moment with the line "Don't die on me!" All the gripping dramas play out while being watched by people on their phones, which are about to run out of juice. The desperate hunt for a phone charger begins--reaching under a bed, running all over the house trying to find one. It's only the woman with the sleeping baby who knows what to do: place her Samsung Note8 handset on her Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charger Convertible.

"Samsung is always innovating ways to remove the barriers of everyday life. Our job is to tell the human stories behind the technology. Why is wireless charging amazing? Because when you're on the edge of your seat, immersed in a movie, your phone should liveto seeevery twist and turn too," says Britt Nolan, Leo Burnett U.S. chief creative officer, in a statement.

The spot is directed by MJZ's Hoffman/Metoyer and is running on social and digital channels across Samsung's global markets.
