Most people don't think twice about ordering a coffee in their local cafe, but for people with dyslexia, it can be daunting not to be able to read a menu clearly.
To demonstrate what it's like, visitors to a cafe in Chicago today will see menus, front window clings, bathroom signs and more that reflect what those with dyslexia would see.
Interns at agency Cramer-Krasselt were behind the Dyslexia Cafe. The agency had charged them with creating something bold and meaningful during their summer internship. The agency teamed with dyslexia awareness organization Everyone Reading Illinois to help spread awareness of the project, and took over local cafe Heritage Outpost for the day-long event.
