Online purchasing has never been more popular - but perhaps now it could truly be said to have come full circle, as eBay gives shoppers the chance to peruse a physical 'shop window'. The online auctioneer has opened an 'Inspiration' Shop on Manhattan's Park Avenue to entice consumers online.

The 'shoppable storefront', created by designer Jonathan Adler, showcases a wishlist of items put together by a collection of over 20 'trendspotters' (they include designer Charlotte Ronson, designer Betsey Johnson and Gizmodo editor Matt Buchanan). Items are displayed alongside QR codes, which shoppers can scan using the eBay app to go straight to the buy page in the app. There's more information on the store's Facebook page.
