Perhaps it's much too easy for gamers to get caught up in the fun of bloodshed and warfare when playing historic, battle-centric titles but this new ccampaign out of McCann Worldgroup Poland, for CI Games' "Enemy Front" aims to put it all in perspective.

On August 1st at 5:00 p.m., online players of the title, a first-person shooter set during World War II, will be stopped mid-game, for exactly one minute. During that time they'll be directed to video where they'll see citizens of Warsaw and other Polish cities taking a moment of silence to commemorate the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, during which which the Polish army struggled to liberate the city from Nazi Germany.

The move acknowledges the 70th anniversary of the event, and serves as a reminder to players that it's not all just a game.
