See a Dazzling Deconstruction of a Nike Sneaker

Spot by Charlex Peels Back Each Layer of Air Zoom Elite 8 Shoe

Published On

Editor's Pick

Nike rips a shoe apart, deconstructing it back to the bare bones to show you what it's made of in this film for its Air Zoom Elite 8 running shoe. The brand worked with New York studio Charlex on the stunning VFX, which peel back each of the sneaker's layers to show us the animated inside, thread by thread, and the little "engine" that is at its beating heart. The director was Ryan Dunn.
