The latest campaign from Getty Images and Almap BBDO shows -- amusingly -- how you can make "epic" looking ads if your budget is small, using Getty's iStock library of video footage. Each of the three new ads starts out with some impressive-looking "epic" footage -- of outer space, mountains, and a twister -- before the film turns into a (fictional) ad for some low-budget company. For example, here, the tornado film turns into an ad for a home renovation firm, Miracle Mike Contractors. Cheesy music and logos for the fictional firms add to the effect. The tagline is "epic footage at non-epic prices."
