Sorry, Volkswagens Don't Really 'Do' Stunts
adam&eveDDB Shows off Safety Features in Campaign's Second Installment
Editor's Pick
Volkswagen UK and Adam&eveDDB are back their latest show of support for independent filmmakers. In recent years, the brand has asked viewers to "See film differently," but this latest campaign gets less abstract and more honest. The auto brand gets refreshingly self-aware with its most recent spots and tagline-- "Made for real life, not the movies."
Each ad depicts a typical action movie storyline, whose attempts at thrilling collisions and exhilarating explosions are foiled by Volkswagen's safety features. Director Paul W.S Anderson (MOB Films) is back at the helm for "Explosion," the second installment in this three-part series. The first, "Bus" was released last month and portrays a "Speed" inspired scene.
