Familiar Faces: Meet Walmart InHome
Description
Developed through Walmart’s internal Store 8 innovation division, Walmart InHome is an at-home delivery service that brings nearly everything you can find at Walmart into your home—and even into your fridge. Kingsland worked extensively with Walmart on InHome’s go-to-market strategy, messaging, and content. To help distinguish InHome from similar delivery services that use third-party drivers, Kingsland created a series of docu-style videos that emphasize the fact that every InHome delivery is packed, delivered, and unpacked into your home by a full-time Walmart Associate.
Shot in three parts in two separate InHome test markets—Kansas City, MO and Vero Beach, FL—these videos featured real InHome customers and their families telling authentic, emotional, and human stories about the genuine connection between customers and their InHome Associates. In Summer 2022, Walmart InHome was officially absorbed into Walmart+, Walmart’s subscription membership, and is rolling out nationwide.
