We're always told that moving is one of the most stressful things you'll ever do, and it seems even looking at new homes is also a source of anxiety.

Having found that 35% of people in Sweden find the process stressful, Swedish real estate firm Fastighetsbyran is experimenting with a new way to help them relax: turning house descriptions into mindfulness tracks.

Stockholm agency Wenderfalck has created relaxation tape-inspired descriptions of selected homes in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Landskrona and Malmö. The audio tracks are avalible on Spotify as an album called "Homefulness" (you can also listen to them on the company website where there are also links to the housing ads, and on other streaming services such as Tidal and Apple Music.)

"Our ambition is that the soundtrack should fill a purpose for stressed home sellers and buyers, but also contribute to relaxation and perhaps a smile for all those who love to consume housing ads," said Johan Vesterberg, press manager at Fastighetsbyran, in a statement.
