Hello Flo founder Naama Bloom, is back with writer/directors Jamie McCelland and Pete Marquis this summer, delivering a second spot for the period subscription service and its starter kits.

The trio sticks with the menstruation-as-social-leverage idea, recreating the awkward world of an adolescent girl. While last year's tween was entrepreneurial, this one gets crafty when Flo just doesn't seem to want to show. Our heroine takes her period -- and social status by extension -- into her own hands with a (not -so) white lie.

Enter mom-- who isn't fooled and becomes the foil in this master plan. The writing gets remarkably gutsy and edgy as our young friend's fib becomes a teachable moment and mother dearest throws her a First Moon Party. What ensues is the most epic (and literal) "Welcome to Womanhood" bash with friends and family. Embarrassment abounds as the devious duo keeps up the charade for as long as possible.
