In a toast to its tenth anniversary, New York-based interactive production company Firstborn has overhauled its own site, going way beyond just an 'about us' blurb and portfolio link.
The simply stylized homepage features a few key options that highlight Firstborn's most recent online work. Full demos and additional info abound for Microsoft's Zune dubbed "Zune Journey," the re-launch of Microsoft's Windows Live platform called "Operation Smile," as well as the firm's virtual showroom created for Le Meridien hotels.
Five months in the making, the new site still features regular sections such as a company bio and portfolio, the latter of which now includes still images of current work that can be clicked through to go deeper into each project, with case studies, press links and demo launches.
With streamlined navigation and a cleaner, more contemporary aesthetic, the Firstborn team makes able use of its Flash skills and flexes a more user-friendly approach to flaunt its past and present.
