Logic Decrees Pop Secret Is Better Than Flowers and Sunsets in These Funny Spots

An Intellectual Discussion Around Popcorn from Barton F. Graf

Editor's Pick

Snyders-Lance brand Pop Secret makes popcorn the subject of serious intellectual debate in its latest campaign, a series of hilarious spots by Barton F. Graf.

The ads see a discussion panel made up of an eclectic bunch (including a little girl, an elderly academic type, a luxuriously-dressed intellectual and a super-serious woman) debate whether Pop Secret is better than flowers (seen here), birthdays or sunsets. They take things to their (il)logical conclusions -- like, birthdays have pointy hats, and these can poke you in the eye, so therefore, Pop Secret is better. There's even a delightfully weird dude with a scoreboard to confirm it.

The ad were directed by Matthew Swanson of Epoch and are running online and on TV in 15-second versions.
