In this spot out of BBDO New York and directed by O Positive's Jim Jenkins, the pro baller takes a teenage boy who also wants to be "like Mike" under this wing. He tests the young man's dedication by asking whether or not he's "ready" for a slew of stereotypical scenarios straight out of sports-related ads.
From the "dramatically-lit gym" to the "workout in an unnecessarily hot room" to a "close up with sweat dripping off your nose," Foot Locker playfully pokes fun at some very familiar scenarios. If the young Michael Jordan wannabe isn't ready for all of those, he may not be ready to fly like MJ.
