Kentucky has the perfect candles for your holiday season -- they just don't smell like cinnamon, vanilla, or any of the other, common and frankly, boring scents that are so popular around the holidays. Instead, why not light up your home and satiate your hunger with these "fried chicken" candles, commissioned by "Kentucky for Kentucky" -- an initiative that's taken a unique approach to promoting tourism to the state. Created by candle-maker Kathy Werking, the candles were made by frying chicken in wax. Not in the mood? Try other scents that evoke Kentucky, like the Kentucky Derby (mint juleps) and Ale8One (the official soft drink of the state.) Candles go on sale Friday.
