Lowe's and BBDO New York have debuted a holiday ad about a gingerbread man with an unusual feature: he sports a pair of antlers.

The emotional vibe of the two-minute video follows the "House Love" film from the spring. It tells the tale of a gingerbread man whose antlers, accidentally melded to his head in the oven, make him an oddity. After a series of adventures and rejections, the ginger-deer is eventually accepted into the larger gingerbread community. "The best part of the holidays is feeling at home," reads the final screen of the spot.

The film is part of the brand's holiday push, which also includes a series of social initiatives such as a Facebook Live event promoting its Black Friday offerings with HGTV's Drew and Jonathan Scott, aka the "Property Brothers."
