Ahead of a global family planning summit to be held in London this week, Save the Children has created an online game that recreates the stark choices that teenage girls can face in third world countries. Giving the player a series of choices, starting with whether or not to take part in an arranged marriage, it aims to demonstrate the lack of options for girls in the developing world and the dangers of teen pregnancy and high mortality rates. At its conclusion, it directs consumers to sign a petition and share the game across Twitter and Facebook. Save the Children hopes to get the attention of world leaders at the summit, which is hosted by the UK Government, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and other partners. The game was created in-house.
