Projects in New York, Austin and Nevada encourage the thrill of discovery

Homewares retailer HomeGoods has the slightly chaotic kind of stores where, if you rummage around enough, you might find something amazing.

So, to celebrate the "thrill of finding," agency McCann New York created a series of art installations around the U.S. encouraging people to discover something new by looking closely.

For example, signposts in New York encouraged people to find the right perspective on a jumble of lamps to recreate Manhattan's skyline in New York, while a trail of mirrors lined the desert floor in the Valley of Fire, Nevada, forming a river of reflected sky and picture frames formed a wall of stories in Austin.

The campaign is both a great fit with the brand -- highlighting that you can find inspiration everywhere, especially in its stores -- and is bound to appeal to Instagram users, always keen to find compelling images to capture.
