The worlds of tech and fashion collided during the Diane von Furstenberg NYFW event, as models strutted down the runway sporting Google Glasses, the augmented-reality eyewear that adds an extra layer of virtual magic to your everyday eyesight.

This is the first time the glasses were shown outside a tech event. And they actually have a function, too. On Thursday, DvF and Google will release a film, made out of the videos captured by the models' eyewear as they took part in the show, including behind-the-scenes action. "Beauty, style and comfort are as important to Glass as the latest technology," Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google, said in a statement. Brin was also present at the show.
