Even shadows have their breaking points. In the Pennsylvania Department of Tourism's newest online campaign, the groundhog's shadowlong the target of scorn and loathing from winter-weary masses who gather every February 2 in Punxsutawney, PAhas fled across the country to avoid once again being the cause of six more weeks of winter. The interactive map at the "Groundhog Crossing" website created by Red Tettemer and Ripple Effects Interactive follows the Groundhog's cross-country trek in a series of sublimely ridiculous videos, as he struggles to find his depressed and elusive friend and bring him back to Punxsutawney in time for this year's Groundhog Day. By then, the 30 revealed videos will be available for download as a 75-minute full-length movie.
