It's the kind of thing that could give you nightmares. In this French ad for Hands Away, an app that women can use to protect themselves against harassment, a bunch of penises wriggle out of pants and set out on their own in the most predatory way imaginable.

The spot, by TBWA/Paris, is based on stories by real-life women relating how they've been harrassed on the street. Alongside their narration, we see the animated penises moving through bars, clubs and along the street in packs, eventually chasing a terrified-looking dog.

The app itself has a tracking system that allows users to alert a community of "Street Angels" in case of danger, whether you are the victim or just a witness. Through its community of users, women can share their own testimonials of harassment and also comfort victims.
