Brazil has been having a tough time in 2020 with the coronavirus pandemic, but its homegrown flip flop brand Havaianas is promising "more colorful days to come" in a vibrant new campaign for the country's forthcoming summer.
The work, by Almap BBDO, includes a TV ad focusing on the "good energy" that comes from Havaianas, with footage of people wearing the products interspersed with colorful artwork by different illustrators, including Niege Borges, Fiedler, Cris Fora de Compasso, Pedro, Pastel & Besouro, Camila Rosa, Herbbbbie and Fernando Molina. Their work also features in digital ads and out-of-home advertising.
“Positive energy is just what the world needs now. This is what the new campaign is all about. We’re bringing back the good moments to show the positivity that the brand’s flip flops stand for," says Fernando Duarte, who worked on the creative together with Henrique Del Lama.
