Father's Day social campaign asks fans to share classic dad humor

Everyone loves the Twitter stream Sh*t My Dad Says. Perhaps with that in mind, Heineken is encouraging consumers to share their most groan-worthy "dad jokes" for Father's Day in the US this Sunday.  The campaign, by Wieden + Kennedy NY, asks people to tweet their dad's go-to jokes to @Heineken_US using the hashtag #dadjokes, and the brand will then memify its favorites featuring throwback photos of dads through the ages.
 
@Heineken_US will start off the day by posting a #dadjoke on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with a call to action to share your own. When it republishes consumer jokes, it will also create an image to match, with so people can share with their dad. All #dadjokes will be archived on a #dadjokes Tumblr, which will go live on the day.
