Moving Mother's Day film from brand will get you misty eyed

Google and Whirled get moms teary-eyed with this sweet film for Mother's Day this Sunday. It uses the tried-and-tested Google method of using the product to tell the story, and features kids thanking their moms for all that they do -- from giving birth, to entertaining them, to being there for them, no matter what. The company used clips from YouTube, like "My 94 Year Old Grandma" and "Soldier Mom Surprises Two Sons" to pad out a lot of the film, a technique we saw previously in the brand's most recent Google Chrome campaign. At G.Co/Mom, the brand gives you ways to thank your mom, and shows off its entire suite of products -- from Shopping to Hangouts to Google Maps -- so you can make the day special by sending her a gift, scheduling some face time, or finding a local florist.
