Spots for animal charities usually tug at the heartstrings, but few do it in a way that's also entertaining. This one, for U.K. animal welfare charity Blue Cross by M&C Saatchi London, definitely has the "awww" factor, but in a way that'll make you sit up and take note. In it a sorrowful-looking lurcher breaks free from his cruel owners and goes in search of a loving home. As he walks the streets noticing other contented dogs with their loving owners, he starts to "sing" Gloria Gaynor's break up anthem "I Will Survive," as he's joined by a bevy of other pets, including a cute white rabbit and plenty of other pups. Finally, he finds a welcoming new owner.

The directors were Dom Hawsley and Nic Goffey at Outsider, and the ad will appear on TV and online.
