Kids play with the darndest things! That's the very serious point of these funny print ads for gun safety organization Evolve. Created out of McCann New York and shot by Todd "The Selby" Selby and Kevin Zacher, the various scenes show children having a ball with untraditional "toys": condoms, lingerie, tampons, vibrators and more, illustrating the point, "If they find it they'll play with it."

So you can only imagine what would happen if they got into Mommy and Daddy's gun drawer.

According to McCann N.Y. Co-CCO Sean Bryan, the new ads build on the original insight from the web film the agency released last June, which showed two boys playing Zorro with a pair of dildos. "The campaign is resonating with moms, and surprisingly with people on both sides of the gun debate," he said. "Who knew that they key to becoming the 'third voice' in the gun discussion in America was letting children handle things they really shouldn't!"
