IKEA USA is encouraging customers to invite their Facebook Friends to a special shopping event on January 14, and raising money for Save the Children in the process.
Customers need to 'like' the brand on its Facebook page
in order to see what's on offer (which will include free food and discounts). They then select their nearest store and invite Facebook friends according to certain character types. These include 'The Accountant,' (the person with the best eye for a bargain) 'The Muscle,' (the gym buff who can manage the heavy lifting) and 'The Sweetest Ride' (the pal with a big enough car for your loot).
For every friend you invite, IKEA will donate $1 to Save the Children.
