'Game of Thrones' Actor Kit Harington Gets Totally Dramatic While Driving
Seems Jon Snow Has Met His Match in Ad for Infiniti
Editor's Pick
In the latest installment of celebrities driving and talking cryptically to themselves in car ads, actor Kit Harington, whose character Jon Snow this season rose from the dead on "Game of Thrones" (and is also making a move into "politics") recites William Blake's famous poem "The Tyger" as he speeds along a sweeping road in an Infiniti Q60.
The ad for the luxury sports coupe aims to show a parallel in how both the car brand and the actor deliver an "exhilarating performance," according to a statement from CP&B L.A., the agency behind the campaign. Partizan's Antoine Bardou-Jacquet directed the film.
"What inspires me personally in my life, is a beautiful piece of writing. Something which is specific, delicate and beautiful," said Mr. Harington in a statement about the Blake poem. The campaign will continue with more films featuring other creative types, including Audio Engineer/Music Technologist Young Guru and Sneaker Designer Sophia Chang.
Watching this we can't help but be reminded of Lincoln's ongoing campaign with Matthew McConaughey saying curious things while driving at night -- or not even saying a word at all.
