Nissan has launched a campaign that wants to steal your intellectual property to facilitate creativity. The Nissan Innovation Garage will invite people to submit their most innovative ideas, and then, through the power of Facebook, will present you with an "alternate universe" where your idea is actually changing the world.
Two winners, selected by Nissan's panel of engineers, win a $50,000 grant, a 2013 Altima, and help unleashing their ideas onto crowd-funding site Kickstarter.
It's not an entirely new idea. Starbucks previously created "My Starbucks Idea," also a UGC project that asked consumers to submit ideas on improving the in-store experience, products and other ways the company can improve itself.
