Germany's Mesut Ozil Transforms Into Predatory Creatures for Adidas
Online Film Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Predator Soccer Boot
Editor's Pick
Adidas seems to be making something of a speciality in turning soccer players into mythical creatures via spectacular VFX. Following on the heels of its spectacular film featuring Lionel Messi blazing through Barcelona, the brand has released an online spot featuring Arsenal player Mesut Ozil, who was part of the World Cup winning German team, transforming into a series of predatory creatures. The film, and a set of 18 accompanying product films, were created by the brand to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Predator soccer boot. MPC was responsible for both the creative and the VFX, which combines live action with graphics representing a series of different animals, from shark to bird of prey.
