Intuit gets into the wellness space with an influencer retreat focused on finances

Intuit stepped into the wellness category by holding a financial wellness retreat last month for creators featuring financial planning workshops, essential oils and sonic healing. The event, titled “Ease: Intuit,” happened in late January and was created by social media agency Movement Strategy. The brand selected a group of up-and-coming influencers to stay at a boutique hotel in Joshua Tree, California, for two days to participate in wellness-focused activities with personal finance, tax and business experts. Intuit held sessions geared toward helping participants explore and optimize their relationship with money featuring financial therapist Lindsay Bryan Podvin. Creators learned about Intuit’s offerings, from taxes and invoicing to marketing and fostering good credit habits. Creators including Georgia Ferraris, Grace Lemire and Cecil Horton captured content to share online, which audiences could follow. Journaling was also encouraged throughout the retreat, especially for attendees to map out personal and professional financial goals. The experiential campaign comes as an Intuit study shows 58% of 18- to 35-year-olds are integrating financial management into their overall wellness routines. “Nearly every aspect of our day-to-day lives is reframed through the lens of self-care and wellness—exercise, the foods we eat and even the time we spend unplugging from work.
