Manny Pacquiao Still Isn't Sure if the Fight Is on in Foot Locker's Funny Ad
We're Not Exactly Sure What the Prize Fighter Is So Excited About
Editor's Pick
Manny Pacquiao's face-off with Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a little over a week away, but it seems he's still not sure if the fight is on in Foot Locker's latest laffer from BBDO, New York.
In a November Foot Locker ad we saw Pac-man go absolutely nuts in the training ring upon hearing the news that "that thing that people wanted is finally happening." He was thinking of the fight, of course, but sadly for him, that thing turned out to be Foot Locker's annual "Week of Greatness."
In this new ad, directed by Kenny Herzog of O Positive, we find him meeting with an agent and going into hysterics again over "that thing" -- only to be disappointed when the agent points out that thing was actually part of a Foot Locker commercial, like the one he's in right now.
The ad goes even more mind-bendery when it cuts to yet another scene of Pacquiao sitting on his couch, watching the scene he was just in, saying, "I"m so confused."
