SodaStream is looking for new employees--and even if you're not interested, the company's recruitment video is hilarious.
SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum fronts the spot, with an appearance from the muscular "Game of Thrones" star, Thor Bjornsson (aka "The Mountain") and real-life SodaStream employees. As Birnbaum strides through the company's real-life HQ, expounding on the qualities it's seeking from new recruits, he slams down lawsuits from Coke onto a massive pile, annoys lawyers and accountants by calling them "rainmakers" and gets a hapless employee to shave Bjornsson's legs.
(If you're still listening at this point, it's because it's so random and entertaining -- kind of like the recruitment equivalent of an Air New Zealand flight safety video.)
"SodaStream is all about people and attracting extraordinary talent requires extraordinary methods" explains Birnbaum. "No more piles of resumes for us. The world is changing and just like we need to be creative in attracting our customers, we need to be super creative in attracting new talent."
Ori Noam directed the spot, for creative agency 361 Degrees.
